So… I would never ever recommend this place. If they have a bad experience they will tell 15. It is also a known fact that if someone has a positive experience they will only tell 3 people. I have been sent to places like Napa Valley for my expertise in my trade. The reason why I know so much is that I have been a restaurant manager in both MA and RI for over 5 years. There were now only 2 tables in the restaurant besides us in mid-tourist season. No thank you for coming in or farewell was addressed to us. In addition, the bill was almost $400 for a group of 14!!!!!!! There will be no re-processions against you. NO one has to pay for gratuity in MA….its optional. In case you don’t know, gratuity is just that. If anyone has ever worked in a restaurant, that is the tell-tale sign of how a restaurant runs in the kitchen…. It literally smelled like a hot port-a-potty on the beach. While we were putting the money together for the bill, I used the restroom. She even said on more than 1 occasion to the waitress that she can’t eat the meal. No one offered to re-make the girl’s dish that was swimming in ketchup. The other 3 girls had to use the rest of the table’s napkins. Napkins were grabbed for just the 1 girl. So how long had that ketchup been around for?! It ferments just like anything else if you don’t use it and keep it cool. When you “marry” or combined ketchup and have it in the heat, it goes bad. In case you are unaware of the restaurant business, let me explain…. It was over her dress, her hat, a girl sitting next to her had ketchup splattered on her face and shirt, and 2 girls across from her got hit with it as well. The whole plate of the girl’s food was covered in ketchup. When I say “exploded“, I am NOT exaggerating. A girl in our group picked up a ketchup bottle to use on her hash browns. Orders were mixed up just like the coffee. No one in the party of 14 ordered flavored coffee…. When she received it, it had an amaretto flavor. ![]() While we waited for our meals, the girl asked for a refill of the hot coffee. She hates flavored coffee so I said I would switch with her. Oddly her iced coffee was flavored with some kind of coconut flavor. The girl next to me ordered iced coffee as well- which she did receive. I ordered iced coffee but received hot coffee. ![]() Why would you already run out? This is a major tourist area in the middle of summer. The man gruffly replied that he would not have enough bunch items if all of us ordered it. We replied that it would be a good amount of us, but some wanted sushi. A gentleman asked if the whole group was going to have brunch. There was only a 2 top inside the establishment. We saw a flyer advertising Sunday brunch starting at noon and going to 3pm every Sunday for the Monkey Bar. At the end of the trip on Sunday, we wanted to have brunch somewhere nice. On this weekend, we did a destination bachelorette party in P-town. I recently visited the Monkey Bar establishment with a group of 14 girls in Provincetown, MA on the Cape.
